What's to know about Lenny Knight . Probably one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.  Born in Guam, U.S.A., I have always been a big fan of Boxing, Football, and Asian Entertainment which consists of Hong Kong films, Kaiju, Tokosatstu, Sentai, and of course Anime. Being a military brat in the Air Force was hard for me because of all the traveling that my family did. Finally at the age of twelve, I moved to Dover, DE. It was then that my reign of terror in music began. Under the instruction of Mr. Richard Steinhoff I started playing percussion in 6th grade which is a year late from the average student who normally starts in the 5th grade. Years went by and I finally met one of the legends in music education named John Rinker. He's the one who took my skillizzes to a whole knew level. Rudiments? What the Smeg is a rudiment I used to ask him. But he prepared me in the nick off time for high school. In High School for 4 years I was instructed by, who I feel is the other legend of Delaware Music Education, Mr. Ronald Shomo. He is the reason why I'm successful today and I owe him so much. I graduated in 1989. In that same year, I was accepted into Delaware State University. Because of my parents divorcing I had to make a choice of what I wanted to do w/ my life. So pretty much, I decided to stay in Delaware but had to sacrifice college in the process for 4 years. During those four years I decided to drum instruct for local high schools all over Kent County which include (in order) Dover, Lake Forest, Milford, Poly-Tech and Smyrna. Sorry Caesar Rodney. You weren't as lucky.  But of course my main drum instructing job was at Dover High School.  During those years at DHS, my drumline, also known as Rolling Thunder, earned high honors and awards all over the East Coast including a top national festival award in 1999. After my fourth year with DHS, I was able to return to college and earn my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Instrumental Music Education. As for my interest in Asian Entertainment, I have always been a heavy fan. Along with two of my best friends, Bill Collier and Sid Courtney, I started the first Asian Entertainment club of Delaware named Arashi Anime, in 1995. The popularity of Arashi Anime became large in DE and soon became a largely popular club. So popular that in 1997, a local coffee shop named Cafe' De Galum, later known as Finn's Place, asked us to have video showings every week. Because of the explosion, I decided to change the club name to Arashi XL because it was bigger and larger and also excelling to new things. During these years, I met Dave Hansch of Old School Productions. Soon after the alliance between OSP and Arashi XL was in effect and later becoming part of the Shaolin Network. Now I still live in Dover, Delaware and I'm still heavy into Asian Entertainment attending most conventions up and down the East Coast. I am also still working w/ Rolling Thunder; and also a full time director at, you guessed it, DOVER HIGH SCHOOL!! Yes my friends.
